Mojitos Reliever Cops Pitching Award Wednesday, July 1st, 2065 Bernardo Murillo has been around the league long enough to know that relievers are often overlooked. That has never stopped him from doing what he does best -- and he did it extremely well in June and stole away with the Latitude Division Pitcher of the Month award. The Mojitos bullpen ace collected no saves and 13 strikeouts in 21.1 innings, holding the opposition to a .221 average and posting a 0.84 ERA and a 5-0 record. So far this year Murillo has delivered no saves. In 13 relief appearances he has 21 strikeouts in 27.2 innings with a 1.30 ERA and 5 wins and no losses. |
