Pivotal Game 5 Goes to Host Cerveceros, 2-1
|
Valencia right fielder Yong Ch'o rose to the occasion at Cerveceros Stadium, driving the Cerveceros to a crucial Game 5 victory over the Erie Sea Wolves. Ch'o was 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk as the Cerveceros took the 2-1 win to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 United States Championship.
The Cerveceros took a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the fourth inning. Facing Erie hurler Francisco Argueta with no outs, Ch'o hit a solo home run.
"It feels good to get this one," Ch'o told the Valencia Bulletin.
The next game is set to be played for Saturday, September 28th , 2069 at Sea Wolves Ballpark in Erie.
