Raucous Cerveceros Stadium Crowd Propels Cerveceros to 7-4 Victory; Series Tied at 2

Tadeo Dolón pitched well, but the Erie Sea Wolves lost anyway, falling 7-4 in extra innings to the Valencia Cerveceros at Cerveceros Stadium. With the win, Valencia took a 2-2 lead in the best-of-7 United States Championship. Dolón pitched well, giving the Sea Wolves 6 innings and allowing 1 run.
Valencia won the game in the bottom of the 12th inning. With two outs and Dave Charles on the mound for Erie, center fielder Emílio Scaduto hit a dramatic 3-run home run, bringing Cerveceros fans to their feet.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Scaduto told the Valencia Bulletin.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Cerveceros Stadium in Valencia.
