The Valencia Cerveceros extended their winning streak.
Valencia Cerveceros starter Jesús Romo was in fine form against the Azua Tortugas at Cerveceros Stadium, leading his team to a win, 4-1. Valencia has now won 7 games in a row.
Sung-heun Kim came through for Valencia with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the fourth. The second baseman was a perfect 3 for 3 in the game, including 1 home run and 2 singles. He scored 1 run and collected 3 runs batted in.
In comments to the Valencia Bulletin, Romo admitted that he doesn't always push himself. "But the results," he said, "speak for themselves."
