Machine Deal Alacranes 4-2 Defeat
|
Moca picked up a win at Field of the Alacranes, bumping off the Monterrey Alacranes, 4-2. Pitcher António Santos was a major reason the Machine emerged victorious. Moca has now won 6 in a row.
Moca used the timely hitting of Wilson Ayala to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Machine on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"This isn't football or hockey where you can overwhelm your opponents," Santos told the Moca News. "Everyone gets 27 outs and we happened to make the most of them."
