The Suwon Samsung Lions topped the Rizao Rally Cats, 6-3, in Latitude Division action at Rizao Grounds. The game was highlighted by the performance of Suwon pitcher Heng-zong Yong. Elvio Ortega recorded the save, making him 13 for 16. Suwon now has a record of 56-46 with the win.

Suwon first baseman Justin Lippincott had a key at-bat for the Samsung Lions in the top of the fifth inning. Facing right-hander Mamo Baka, Lippincott reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run. It put Suwon in front, 4-3. For the day, Lippincott drew 2 walk in 4 trips to the plate.
