Nduria Stars in 5-1 Mojitos Win
|
The Cancun Mojitos beat the Seoul Warlords, 5-1, at Ballpark of Seoul. The Mojitos got a fine performance from first baseman Hakizimana Nduria, who was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Domenico Brunetti, the winning pitcher, improved to 2-1. He pitched 7.1 innings, giving up 3 hits and no runs, while striking out 5 and walking 3. Seoul, at 2-11, is off to a dreadful start in 2069.
It could have been a different outcome for Cancun, had it not been for Martín Arsencio, the former first round draft pick . Arsencio contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put Cancun up, 2-0.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Arsencio said.
