The Oaxaca Nueve Garras de Jaguar got a superb performance from first baseman Richard McDaniels, but the Hong Kong Golden Dragons still won the game, 4-3. McDaniels was 3-5 with 2 home runs, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Hong Kong pitcher Ed Knutsen got the win, upping his record to 2-3. Jong-suk Ki got the loss. The win has Hong Kong at 30-46.

In the bottom of the 14th inning, António Maril won the game for the Golden Dragons, walloping a solo home run. For the game, Maril hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Oaxaca manager Eric Oliver. "But we decided not to take it."
