Alacranes Net 5-2 Win Over Golden Dragons

Monterrey turned a good effort from starter René Granados into a win over the Hong Kong Golden Dragons at Ballpark of Hong Kong. The final score was 5-2. Wally Stanley collected his 13th save. Monterrey now has a 7-game win streak.
Allen Webb, the three-time VEN Gold Glove Award winner , had a direct impact on the outcome. Webb contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to put Monterrey up, 1-0.
"Win or lose, we always try to grind it out and stay even-keeled," Webb said in reaction to the win.
