The Busan Burning Dragons bested the Tokorozawa Arsenal, 6-5, at Arsenal Ballpark. José Allahar was one of the standouts. He was 3 for 6 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Reijiro Kanesaka earned the save for Busan, his 10th. The third-place Burning Dragons improved to 19-21.

Busan used the clutch hitting of Javin Mezcua to capture the win. The center fielder drilled a solo home run in the top of the 12th inning to put the Burning Dragons ahead, 6-5. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Busan manager .
