The Tijuana Saltamontes went home winners at Kylins Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Ignacio López. López stifled the Xi'an Kylin, enabling Tijuana to grab the 2-0 win. López got the win, improving to 9-4. He allowed 6 hits and walked 1 over 6.1 innings. López allowed no runs. Bum-kyoo Ch'oe converted his 26th save in 28 tries.

In the top of the seventh inning, López went to the plate for the Saltamontes. With the clubs tied 0-0, he saw a 2-0 sinker from Jade Syvestre and hit a 2-run single to put the Saltamontes on top, 2-0.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," López said after the game.

Tijuana is now riding a 3-game win streak.
