Gonzílez Hits 3 home runs in Legends Win
|
The San Lorenzo Legends beat the Toronto Sting, 7-4, at Sting Ballpark. Sergio Gonzílez, in particular, was impressive. He hit 3 home runs. He drove in 7 runs and scored three times. Rubén Rúbio earned the save for San Lorenzo, his 3rd. At 7-4, the Legends have played well so far.
Gonzílez had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a first pitch changeup from Hyeon-san Park, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Legends a 7-4 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Gonzílez.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Gonzílez.
