My owner is essentially forcing a rebuild. He is planning to cut salary by $14m next season, and to have any hope of staying in VEN, I’m going to need some breathing room on salary. Grudgingly, Hamilton’s two franchise players are now on the block:

CF Antonio Sousa, the heart and soul of my franchise, a true five-tool player. 10 rating in CF, 10 stealing ability, 7/9/7/7/5, 30 years old and in his prime. $19m/yr for four more seasons.

1B Ki-nam Yi, perennial cleanup hitter, 7/8/9/7/6, 30 years old and in his prime. $21m/year for three more seasons.

I’d like to move both by the trade deadline.

Seems to be a lot of that from the owners in version 16. I feel your pain, salary down in the upper $40’s now and I finally have breathing room. Good Luck.
