The league has been without an Awards Czar for a while now (since 2035 to be exact). If someone would like to run with this in the future, please let me know. Any help is appreciated!

So, without further ado, here is the Awards ballot for 2041.

When you’re ready, cast your ballot here.

The ballot was largely created based on eyeballing a combination of aggregate and cumulative totals. A lot of potentially deserving candidates were left off the ballot; it’s hard to narrow down to five!

if I’m not mistaken, I believe Aitken set a new All-time Season Record for HR in a season (55)

I couldn’t find anyone higher after going through all the leagues, but some data could have been lost at some point.

Also, I wish I had a pitcher with a season like Pae’s, but sadly, he is not on my team.

I was wondering about Aitken, as well, but didn’t have time to scour the archives.

I almost overlooked him for the ballot, because there several solid 30+ HR seasons from other guys, but I made sure to include him based on the HR total because, record or not, it’s extraordinary.

I am holding back on my assessment of Aitken’s 55 HR season, could be the start of a new steroid era. 😉

Oops. I corrected that here. I don’t think I can correct it on the ballot without blitzing the responses.
