Hey everybody, just wanted to drop in and let you know that I didn’t forget about this year’s Hall of Fame voting. I got tied up through Christmas but didn’t want to post it until after the holidays so that we get maximum participation. It’s ready to go now but expect to see it in early January.

Voted… first year that Ive really felt qualified to vote, getting the historical numbers in perspective given the 120 game season

Pretty weak crop, although a couple good new entrants who should make it in. Voted for 5 guys.

Yep, it’s a weaker crop…I think I voted for 7, usually I was voting for 9 or 10. I think I voted for 3 or 4 pitchers since I believe our HOF is like 90% hitters if I remember correctly.

No one clamoring for 12 votes next year! Cap_PDT_01_07

You never know. There’s only three players that haven’t received a single vote so most of the fringe players will be back. Then again, it looks like we’re going to have a large class this year, taking the top candidates off of next year’s list.

Ah, Miguel Chervony. A piece of my best and worst trades to date.

The final ballot came in two minutes before the deadline. Impressive!

Also, we had the highest HOF voter turnout in ten seasons. Good work, guys!
